I thought this story was ok, at best. I mean, none of the characters' motivations were explained. Why did that guy fall in love with Sara? If there is a dress code, why didn't the school force Sara to wear pants? Why did all of these people suddenly form a relationship with Sara? On top of that, how will Sara's mom's opinion of her gender affect their relationship? This was a great opportunity to show how strong their relationship is. Instead, we get the mom kind of interfering and Sara brushing her off.
Okay, just saying, here, but since Sara's a girl, not a boy, this isn't shounen ai at all. It's straight, and the people who can't see that remind me of her mom in the manga- not willing to accept what is.
And you can say all you want to that genetics make a person irrevocably one thing or the other, but I will disagree with you at every turn there. Sara loves herself, and that's something very inspiring. So what if she's got a complex? She's a gorgeous woman (as is Youga-chan, wig or no) and I'm proud of her for finding even more faith in herself by the end.
This comic was good, but Sara’s character annoyed me quite a bit. I never experienced someone being so happy that they become annoying. I like how positive she is, but her face really gets annoying after a while. I thought that the only thing that set this story apart from other shoujo manga, is the fact that Sara is trans. Other than that it was just a same old boring and cliched shoujo manga.
i got annoyed by sara always referring herself as sara instead of using pronouns.. i don't like characters like those.. but this is an OK story.. but i can't feel the "love".. it feels more like a teenage "crush"..
so beautiful... i am usually a reader of only yaoi but every now and then a manga comes along that peaks my interest.. this was one of them... it was a touching moving story and i honestly wish that i could have more.. i need more Sara is my heroine... and a better Bf then Naruse she would not be able to get...
I wish Sara would stick up for herself more and make people call her by her proper pronouns. Also I know its kind of fluffy and cute but her moms an intolerant cunt who needs to realise that she never gave birth to a guy.

i really love it but it shouldn't be tagged shounen ai

he could've at least called her sara at the end :/
