I feel really unsatisfied too.. did daigo really love hirofumi? It seemed like he was just using hiro as a replacement for akihiko... I mean i couldn't feel his love at all. All I saw was his obsession with being needed by someone. And at the end while waiting in his old home he was still thinking abt akihiko opening the door that really broke my heart.. and a part of me wondered whether he would have "preferred" akihiko opening the door more than hirofumi . It would have been better if there was a chapter where daigo accepts akihiko's death ( i am not telling him to forget but just accept the fact that he is gone and coming in peace with it) and also sincerely express his love for hiro A good read but i feel bittersweet ...
To add to my comment below, this also made me wonder if Daigo and Hirofumi ever actually truly love each other, because it seemed like Daigo only loved the version of Hirofumi he was with before the start of the series and never really bothered getting to know the current Hiro and determining if his feelings were the same. Meanwhile on Hiro's side, it seems more like a mix of guilt, pity, and some body memory bs that's pushing him into being in this relationship. He seemed more resigned into being with Daigo than actually wanting to be with him. The relationship just seems satisfyingly incomplete and rather unhealthy.
I really dislike everyone around the MC. Dude has freakin' amnesia! He's going through a traumatic experience! Twice! Give him some breathing room. It's one thing to inform someone of their past but quite another to force them into act a certain way just because of it when there's really no obligation on his part to do so. Allow him to make his own decisions on his own terms instead of guilt tripping him into a relationship.
I don't really feel the love either, it was more like obsession for hirafumi and replacement for the akihiko which he's clearly not over at all, daigo just needed an emotional support, it could be anyone and he didn't evn see hirafumi for who he truly was or didn't evn try to, he's also pretty selfish too, everything was abt him the whole time and his personal and emotional gains, he didn't evn try to help or understand what hirafumi was going through either, I know that he's mentally unstable, but still..hirafumi will get compared with akihiko his whole life if it goes on like this, as It's very clear that daigo still couldn't forget him, which is truly sad and hurtful.
I like it but I have twisted feelings about the main characters relationship. Hirofumi was simply forced to all of that... It's not like he wanted it... Everyone was treating him as if he was the bad one like he did the wrong thing. That was so unfair to him. I think Daigo was a poor character (he faced a lot of pain) but Hirofy had painful experience with males as well... also Daigo doesn't even love Hirofumi (He loved - maybe - the previous Hirofumi but I don't feel any love in him to the actual Hirofumi) If Hirofumi didn't meet Daigo, if his classmates didn't say things as if he was at wrong, and his family would care about him... Then probably he could live on... But because of all that he had to be humiliated and treated like a bad person. I really have twisted feelings for this manga.
Pity won't force you to be attracted to anyone. Hirofumi feels pain because a part of him remembers loving Daigo. From the beginning he enjoys kissing daigo and is attracted to him. It's his trauma of being attacked in the past that holds him back. Pity won't change your sexuality. I really liked this story and wish we could see more of them.
The people around mc are so insensitive. They accepted their relationship which is good but think about mc after his amnesia. He doesn't remember anything. Instead of being whatever,they are lover they should have at least be *Daigo,stop being emotional b*tch* ...also I couldn't feel an ounce of love ..if anything i think the love was more like pity and sympathy, also it felt like the current him had to force himself to accept that he now gay and he is this guy's lover....
