When I was about 14? 15? ...about that age, I moved to a new town. The mountains looked bigger than usual, like I could really walk to them if I tried. One day I felt like climbing one, so I just kept walking towards it. I, so very brilliantly, neglected to bring either a hat, water or a map, and got wonderfully lost under the Australian sun.
Luckily, I did have a phone, and when my parents called me home, I was forced to admit I was hopelessly lost. The solution? Call a taxi (cab). This took more walking as I was in a regional area, and both the houses, their letterboxes and their numbers were tucked away into their properties beyond eyesight.
Battling the effects of dehydration and exhaustion, I kept wandering until I had finally found and address to give the taxi company. During the ride home, I realised that I'd wandered back so well, that my home was only a few streets away. At least the fare was cheep.
It was a fun and interesting experience, but I learnt my lesson.
On a final note, the mountain was way further than walking distance, or even biking distance. I had to give that one up. Oh well. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I got lost in the sub way when i was a kid like 7, 8, i was with my grama and mom and ant i was holding my moms and gramas
We were right in front of the shuttle doors and they we're deciding whether to get on or not and I was all like in my mind, should i get or not so my little self let go of both their hands and went in (⊙…⊙ )
The doors closed right behind me, I didn't know it was happening, I just looked out the window seeing my mom and my aunt running and then falling to the ground with tears in their eyes screaming
I turned my ass around and sat down, luckily there was no weirdos in that cart it was only an old couple and two other passengers were in shocked with their jaws down they have just witnessed all that they said it will be okay
On the speaker they said my name and to get off at the next stop and I was all like okay so I got off and there was a worker guy who exported me to the front of the Subway I got to sit next to the driver it was so cool it was like I was going into the future
Then when I got off found my mom, I was I'm like it's okay I'm back lol not exciting but it could have been bad if I was stolen ╮(￣▽￣)╭(￣∇￣")
