When you read a manga do you imagine your favorite voice actor voicing the character?
To make reading manga more exciting I like imagine my favorite voice actors and actresses playing the character whether it be an English dub voice or a Japanese sub voice I think it brings more joy and excitement to whatever I read. Does anyone else feel the same way?
Whenever I read I unconsciously create a voice for it, I don't think of actors or whatever. Since I don't know any. But whenever I see the anime I kinda feel disappointed, since it never turns out as I expected, which is normal, every reader create their own voice, that actor can't please everybody.

I actually don't. I create different voices for them -- none that I've ever heard before so each character has their own individual voice as I imagine them to be. It's not intentionally done... it just happens naturally. hehe ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ reply
I do! Although I am sometimes disappointed when a different seiyū voices the character, I try to love it. There are times I can't so all I can do is laugh. Of course, there is a manga that is just to my expectations. Example: Last Game. I imagined Yanagi Naoto voiced by Kimura Ryōhei so when I found the drama cd, I was like, "OMG!
