Ha ha ha. Well, when I confessed, it was a child's crush.
I used to be a tomboy, and I always followed my brother around when he went out to play with his friends. It pissed him off but his friends and my cousins who always hung out with him were really nice to me. My boyfriend was the nicest one out of the bunch. I liked him a lot but in a childish way: I stuck to him whenever he was around, I ate stuff I didn't like just cause he was eating it, I was nice to my brother in the hopes that he would invite him over... Childish stuffs.
Growing up, though, I dated a couple of guys and he had a girlfriend or two. My bro moved out of the house so I didn't see him all that much anymore but my bro threw a birthday party for his girlfriend and we met again. He was still as nice as I remembered and we talked a lot that night. After that, we hung out for a while and then we started dating.
I liked him a lot when I was a child, but I fell in love with him when I was 16. And yeah, now we're 28 and 35 and we've built our life together. And I couldn't be happier about it. :D
So I guess, if my love story is like a manga, then it's a happy ending one. Those are my favourite after all :D

When I confessed, I was just a child. It was much easier cause I was just telling him my feelings cause I wanted him to know. I didn't want a relationship or anything. I just wanted him to know that I liked him. That out of everyone I liked, he was the most special.
When I was 16, it was a lot harder. I probably would have confessed again eventually but I would have been a lot more nervous.
