Dessa, a witch, built an empire for the human she loved, but did not believe in him. Now she must renounce her witch’s powers and become an ordinary human in order to give birth to an imperial child, so she proposes a bet to test the emperor Hartwan who swore eternal love, that he must find her among 108 women with the same face. Emperor Hartwan accepts the bet and he even puts in an unconventional condition that in the end, no matter whom he chooses, he welcome the chosen one as empress. The witch and 107 women resembling her gather at the imperial palace. Meanwhile Arit, a young witch who admires Dessa, sneaks into the imperial palace in order to prevent Dessa from becoming human, interfering with the bet with the emperor?! The search for the empress proceeds in chaos. Who will win in the end?
I hope this is one of those stories that slightly deviates from the novel because based off the spoilers regarding the emperor and empress:
They deserve a happy ending too. I'm fine with the emperor being infatuated with the FL bc the whole point of the bet was due to the fact that the emperor's love for the soon to be empress was weak. However, I wish FL would make the emperor recognize why he truly loves the empress (because she's the empressess biggest fan) and he now knows how to pick her out from the 108 participants. He admits that he didn't truly love her but has recognized how wrong he was and is now actually in love with her for who she is, not because she built his kingdom. She's happy bc the bet paid off and their relationship is far stronger now than it was before. At least, that'd be how I rewrite the ending between them.

SPOILERS BELOW fL is Arith Arith, the black haired woman x Carl, the red haired guard are the end game emperor and the empress(Dessa) didn’t get a happy ending because he lost the bet & ended up falling for Arith with Dessa's face Emperor Hartwan added the claus that no matter whom he chooses in the end will become the real empress ..although in the end the real Dessa ended by becoming the empress but Hartwan fell for Arith who was there among the other candidates with Dessa's face anyway emperor loves was weak & sadly Dessa was right .. sad how it ended for them despite being married they knows the reality of their relationship
