havent actually read because rape is disgusting

that rape scene rly threw me off

super realistic. it's so painful to the point i just wanna shout 'JUST GET TOGETHER WITH HIM SENSEI! HE'S HURTING SO MUCH!' but then i realized that's really what people in unrequited love feels like. their indecisiveness is infuriating, the push and pull scenario, the constant suffering in silence. the rape scene makes me feel awful for the first time because there are feelings of 'contempt' that makes me irk. it made me realize that you can't mess with an already broken person by expecting something from him. it's hard to start a relationship in a clean slate when you're in a state of being stuck. i felt like there's something missing, they only got together AT THE END and it wasn't so satisfying. sigh. but i won't deny it's still good.


the sensei needed time to completely love the student. also it's a gradual process. that's love. you wait, even there's no guarantee of return. he didn't love him out of pity. he already liked the seme, but it isn't just deep like what he have on his friend. i agree with other commenter, yuki is imperfectly perfect. he is vulnerable. they all have flaws and that's what makes this story different to other student-teacher bl's.


is this the japanese version of form of sympathy? but that story delves between his unrequited love and choices in life as it tackled serious themes. (bullying, career pressure, discrimination)

There was... a lot of pain and angst in this one that just... didn't feel great. MC rapes his teacher, immediately regrets it and spends the rest of the story kinda haunted by it, which is a million times better than most stories.

There's a lot to unpack with this one, but it's like... late and I dont have the brain power

i despise teacher×student stories cuz its basically gr00ming and p3dophilic but this one i believe is diff, the story is actually pretty deep. i wont justify that the student r4pe the teach, but im glad that he reflects on his mistakes and is aware that he is wrong, he also apologized multiple times

This story took its time, the story building was good, made me angsty but I'm glad it got a happy ending.

I know it has rape, but there's no 'oh, he raped me because he loves me' mindset shit that's disgusting. seme really felt bad for what he did, kept apologizing, doing everything he can to make up for what he did. it's rare to see seme like these repent for their mistakes. I kinda agree with some comments, that it doesn't seem like uke really loves seme and just settled for him because he was afraid he was going to lose seme (because seme decided to give up) after being used to seme's presence, because seme made him feel like he can be with someone and he wouldn't be alone anymore, but I think he does. He doesn't love him as much seme does (yet), not even telling him an 'I like you' (tho tbh I'm glad he did because it would be really weird for me) but I think he will love him more, and maybe that's what this book lacks TT I want to see more of their relationship :(( this book is good, definitely deserves more.

Cute story. Most of the comments talk about rape but I appreciate the fact that the rape scene is not shown and sadly is a theme present in most of yaoi manga
Moreover in my opinion Arioka was really sorry and thought about it for a long time

I appreciate how Kinoshita Keiko built the characters.
Not like most manga, the rapist here conscious of raping is wrong. He regreted doing that to the one he love. Not "he is mine or i love him so much, i couldn't stop myself" and then BE OKEY with what they've done.
And the uke's feeling was very real. Ppl tend to rely on the person who shows them love and attention, even though that's selfish. But again, it's real.
The art was great too. I like simple and neat drawing, or alittle messy still okey. I can feel their emotion well
