About the adventures of a young boy thief and his love.

Really not the best. Had a silly tone which was fun and cute. Bits of logic were dumb. I was not too fond of the romance. The love interest is a kindergartner who acts like a "lady". Even for a parady, i don't like that she was put into a mature role.
Great art style!

For a Clamp work, this is exceptionally bad. I realize that this is an early work, but it was still really rough and had none of the nuances of their newer works. I don't know if it was a parody of Lupin or just a poor man's version, but it was just bad. With terrible characters, spelling errors abound (though, that's on the translation team), and little to redeem it, this isn't the series to read if you want to remember Clamp fondly. I think the series was well-meaning, and there were times when it could have been something, but, all in all, my experiences with this series aren't good.

Cute enjoyable fluff with 2 of the worst mothers ever & grand speeches about love from elementary school children. Suffers a bit from what TV Tropes calls 'only 6 faces': in some shots 9 years old Akira could easily pass for 16 years old Subaru!
