Comments of 2-Week Summer Secret

I would give this a higher score. It has two stories, one about meeting someone during a student exchange and the second is a love story between college students who are job hunting.

could be way better if it there was more development,, but it was still cute

10/10/23 ch 6.5 end. Itsuki x Ayato. I don't get how they fell in love with each other ahaha especially on Itsuki's side.2 years has passed too before even getting together. Man.

This story just gave me courage

The story is FINE. Its not great. Not that horrible. The thing is, I know the mangaka tryna make something like growing up, being mature, finding what you wanna do in the future and such. BUT, these first story, feel very very detached. Especially the Yankee boy, like its feels like we're reading about a stranger, and not a main character. Thats how bad it is. As a reader, there's a lot of improvement that can be made in this manga. But I'm not gonna go to that route today cuz this is just a short story afterall, not even a 1 volume story. The 2 main characters also felt very unpolished, incomplete. What is it that made you wanna kept going and excited when you read something? its the characters, of course. Its basic. And this feel completely failed in that area. I know of this mangaka previous work, I've read it, and that also failed the same way. I'd say this is the most mid if not lower BL out there. Not even fall in the category wholesome or anything like that. I skip reading the 2nd story cuz I don't feel like reading anymore of this mangaka work at the moment.

pretty good, but kinda mid, ayato was a sight for sore eyes tho!!

It was good the first story was cute and lovely but wanted more at the end and the second story was just a lovely idiot couple

Ch 1-4: Two guys go on a study abroad in America and have to share a room cuz they got double booked. One is bad at socializing and the other keeps getting drawn in with questionable crowds but they become friends and then wind up sleeping together.

Ch 5-6: Guy with unrequited love on his friend considers moving away cuz angst but it turns out the love is mutual. I kept getting lost where they were in time...

Overall, hmm... 6/10?
