Since then the typical jealous commoner has been vying for the attention and love of all the ppl around her. Finally at the academy she was set straight when her fiance, the illegitimate second prince annulled his engagement to her and nearly killed her. Mc protected the evil commoner w her own body and for the first time got a warm hug from her mom. Now what's left is the mom of the second prince trying to exact revenge on this ducal family. Also mc is alr in an assasin guild w the goal to save the empire and also in a contract w the first prince in order to show the ducal family's neutrality despite the old engagement of commoner and the 2nd prince

Honestly, I like it. There's a twist to the typical story of the villainess.
But I hate the mom, she's one of the worst I've seen. How could you seriously be emotionally negligent to your own flesh and blood just because she's not an easy child then have the audacity to favor another one just because she laughs and cry like a dumb.baby even when she's a teenager ☠ if I was the duke I would have divorced her a long time ago or yeeted her somewhere to the countryside with the other clown
