If narcissist was a gay man in the Victorian era we would have Mr. Richards. It’s like the journey of if a narcissist learned how to function as a part of society.
Other than that the plot was really good. Even though it’s frustrating it was overall a good read. Recommended.

i grew so attached to them ill miss them sm gahh best thing ever. Its genuinely become my favorite manga ever imiss. The 5 star rating does not do justice to this masterpiece

Ch. 34: cute and all but idk after the drugged scene it got weird

mehh. good plot but ray and ian kinda annoys me.

Mmmm.. mixed feelings.. I didn't like it when Raymond slept with like more than 50 women when he was "deceiving" ian .. but overall the plot twists were unpredictable.. I bookmarked the chapter where the plot shocked me a bit .. it was a good realistic read .. will reread ( probably won't be able to endure that Raymond slept with all those women + pretended to like that shitty princess) .. AND OMG I HAD A BAD FEELING ABOUT THAT PRINCESS AND IT WAS TRUE .. SHE TRIED TO KILL DEAR IAN ... FUCK HER FUCK HER FATHER FUCK THAT BETTY MAID TOO

ML was sold to a 'prestigious' family of painters when he was a child because the head of the house saw the innate talent he had for art. he was abused for years and kept in captivity by this family, only surviving because of the paintings he made (that where being sold as creations of the second son of the family). then a merchant (the love interest) goes to the family to get his portrait done and finds ML hidden behind a curtain, and then he rescues him and uses him and fall in love with each other
--> there is a lot of abuse in the story
--> i sometimes hate the love interest, ML should stand up a bit

i binge read this and man, THAT WAS A HELL OF A RIDE! What a rollercoaster ride of emotions and the plot was really good. honestly i did not think that they would have a happy ending but the author gave us the plot twist that we need and it just make the story a hundred times better. THEY DESERVE A HAPPY LIFE ESPECIALLY MY IAN. SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS MASTERPIECE

Well, that was a hell of a rollercoaster ... but it was really worth it for the end!
