She needed therapy. Before his death, the brother needed a wakeup call to get the impulsive stupid out of his head. The ML, now, needed to move on from brother and sister and live his life away from neurotic idiots and without vain regrets for something that wasn't his fault. He was a decent sort. As to FL, I failed to see anything lovable about her. All I saw was a human who was a life support system for a grudge.
