I get what the writer was going for but the execution was poor. It was hard to stay invested in this after chapter 20 when all the problems started piling up and there was absolutely no explanation for anything until the last 10 or so chapters. This was a not fun, very frustrating read. Very slow, very boring. It's possible to write a "realistic" story without making it so boring and confusing.
It's a pretty realistic depiction of a relationship that's off to a bumpy start. It'll be hard to get through if you haven't had some trauma or don't have great empathy for those who are sensitive.
I think I read this years ago but I couldn't remember shit so I'm glad I re-read it. It's such a realistic love story that had me frustrated, hurt or excited at times. Yes the characters expecially the writer were flawed but I don't think it made the story annoying. It's easy to understand why he behaves that way after you see everything that went down. I honestly wish them to face all of their problems and stay happy together. Such a nice, realistic and refreshing story.
It was okay I guess. They never explained their past properly though, when they knew each other. That was just a really big plot hole for me. Well, a plot hole in general, since this story ran on the basis that it was a reencounter. The uke isn't as bad as the other reviewers make him out to be. It's just the usual up and down "typical romance" for yaoi.
Too tired of my life to read realistic stories. I hate Sa-in for pushing himself to Jaehyuk at the beginning then will try to run away as things go deep.
Sung-jae is a diligent, clean-cut doctor who has lingering feelings for his first love from high school. Sung-Jae always finds Sa-in reappearing in his dreams just as his memories of him are about to fade. Then for the first time in 11 years, he shows up again in Sung-jae’s life. However, Sa-in’s playfulness makes it hard to tell if he also has genuine feelings for Sung-jae. Will this atypical encounter unfurl into romance?
