It's really hard selecting descriptors for this manga because it's so big and hard to define. I can't just call it BL, and I can't just call it ACTION. It reminds me a lot of Banana Fish, but without one central main character. Everyone in this manga is a MC.
Volume I review: I’m preparing both my mind and heart bc I know it’s gonna be one hell of a fucking read again. I’m loving the possible concept of Yuki having two MLs, a younger Tetsu, and older Kyoudou. Tho Tetsu’s already shown how he felt for Yuki, I’m curious what Kyoudou really think of Yuki. I sense that Yuki only thinks of the former as a friend, but I’m sure as hell, he feels differently about Kyoudou. Classic messed-up childhood we’re gettin, I’ve read worst but still gotta prepare myself.
Volume II review: Wtf— vol II was like dropping bomb after bomb bc all these pieces of information are giving me the actual relationship of each character to one another, and it’s giving me headaches, so fucking complicated! My heart is already hurting for Yuki and what’s to come on vol III. Please don’t make it too bad that my sanity can’t handle it.
Volume III review: Wtf for the second fucking time?! The characters relationships are gettin tangled and messier! Like, who’s one’s ally and enemy? Yuki was just being dragged into these old men's feud, give him a break already!
Volume IV review: Wow. This BL manga never ceases to shock me. Characters connections to each other being untangled one by one was mind-blowing. Like fr, they’re connected from the very fucking start? Man, hands down to sensei for this amazing work. The execution of connecting each character was outstanding. Most of the time, I’d realized before I even read, but on this one, I was really shocked all the time. So, evil characters since the start were Masatsugu’s father, Ashiei, and Heilong!
Volume V review: Hidetsugu Doumoto is the root of all evil! Rei and Hisako went through so much pain. I truly admire Masatsugu’s selflessness to offer all of himself to Rei for the sake of the latter’s revenge, now that’s true love!
Volume VI - Vol 7 Ch 52 review: BL manga— scratch that, more like action drama manga. Still no regrets bc it keeps getting interesting as new characters are added. The Wang brothers, Ashiei, Yuan, and Youyan, are all evil. I’m looking forward to seeing more of Youyan! He looks cunning and sexy as hell! I’m no longer reading this for Yuki and Hyoudou, I’m now more invested in the story and how it’ll end. Btw, Reiji and Yuki’s reunion made me cryyy but please Reiji, don’t just use Yuki for the sake of your plans. I know he will, but I’m hoping he will take care of Yuki for the sake of Ryujii. I’ll probably forget some parts and the characters connections since it takes time for this to be updated, I hope the author or someone makes a character map or somethin lmao.
Did I forget to put this on my reading list to no wonder I couldn't find it lol, anyway this not bl, but it have bl subtext and stuff the story and plot is good but dark but that baby better not die tho I will get mad if that baby boy dies.. C16
