It's a cute and well written story I am not gonna lie, this type of MC and ML really piss me of but they do what the author attempted to do and I could find them cute, separated and together, even hating both their personality In the end they were blessed with good friends, good parents, and good partners, and they still attempted to do all in the most difficult way, at the same time I want to punch them, I do understand that it all made part of their growth as a person, not everything is just about a relationship even if you love each other, I think it all was always too optimistic (like all love rivals supporting them and most having another one to love right after, and ML instantly is all ready to heal the trauma he carried for years and forgiving others in the right exact time it was needed) it could have been made more reasonable and realistic But it's still a 5 star and to be fair all my critics are because of my dark heart, but I think is a great reading for Young girls
For vol. 1: I can't believe her friend sided with that jerk. He cornered her and scared her and now her friend's blaming her for being scared and not liking him anymore??? Bitch, what if it got serious?! What if it turned into an assault?!? Would she still blame Kayano for not wanting it or liking it?!? She pisses me off!
i wish it hadn’t been wrapped up so quickly:(( I really loved it but to read 10 volumes for it all to end in one was kinda disappointing.. also I would’ve liked to see takeru’s life in Italy and maybe even the couple’s future like kids and shit idek. one thing I will say is that the last few volumes had me so emotional
Kayano's attempt to confess her feelings to the guy she likes by giving him a love letter turns into major disaster because she did it with her eyes closed and ends up giving it to Takeru, a handsome and popular school bully. Worse, her mother intends to marry the school principal, father of none other than Takeru himself! Can Kayano ever manage having the devil incarnate for a schoolmate and stepbrother? This manga has been turned into the Taiwanese drama 'Devil Beside You' with Rainie Yang as Kayano and Mike He as Takeru.
It's a really bad romance manga, overly long and draggy. The manga could have been cut in half or 2/3 and it would be about the same, since not much happens. The female lead is super annoying and unlikeable, I really detested her. The male lead is very ugly and also unlikeable. I didn't see why I should even care what happens to them. Actually I wished they had more bad things happen to them so I would care a little more about their supposed forbidden relationship. It's supposed to be incest but it's really not, since the two of them are not blood related in any way so I don't consider that incest. Just because their parents got married doesn't prevent them from getting married, which is what happens in the end anyway, like it was a huge surprise... The art is horrific in the beginning but slowly improves with time, but it's not worth sticking to till the end.
Be warned - this is a very long story, but full of all kinds of intricacies that keep you hooked - SO GOOD!!! A fantastic story - but you want want to stop for the night, so make sure you start it early in the morning.
