Maybe if I were younger, I would've given this a 4 star review. However, the whole plot was just meh and the only thing I liked is the art and maybe the fl's character. Overall, I just skimmed throughout because I find many scenes to be absurd most especially the rapist father being forgiven like wth.

This was a part of my childhood and I'm glad to see how it ends! It was well written considering the time it was published in my opinion, and the author made sure every character gets the closure they deserve, even the side characters albeit in a short manner. Though the genre is romance but I think this manga encompass "love" as a whole, including one's love to God, to family and to friends. This is further emphasized by the circle from Maria's cross, the protector of "Love". It wasn't just romantic love like everyone thought. That's why I appreciate this manga a lot. <3

This was a good manga but it's just really frustrating. Maria had to deal with the emotions of everyone else, that she couldn't even consider her owns. She literally got bullied, and mistreated by others (teacher, Anna and the other short hair girl), and she just had to forgive everyone because of their feelings, these characters are just so selfish, idk if I'm just too immature to understand, but it's so annoying. The teacher just kept bullying a student instead of being a decent adult, the short hair girl just made everyone hate Maria, and she still kinda looked like the victim at the end, and Anna just putted all the blame on Maria when she was the one who was wrong, and let's not even talk about John who literally raped Maria's mother but was still seen has a "good" father? And I'm sorry but even if Maria's mother loved Maria, she was TOXIC and ABUSIVE, she rejected her kid and was possessive. I just think that everyone was forgiven too easily even thought they did horrible things. Also, I don't really like megu, he thinks that he his protecting her by pushing her, but he is just hurting her feelings. Anyways, I still love some characters and Maria was a really interesting fl.

well-written but i wish yuusuke got a chance and maria would take him seriously. tho ig it's well written in that sense cause if u continue to put up a fake front and someone finds out, they're not gonna know if u're being serious or not but whatever. what happens with anna n shin as well lol...idk it was rushed at the end imo. john is downright gross. i feel that a lot of the characters weren't properly concluded so ya. however, overall good manga.
