Omg I can't believe that made it to the end. At first I thought that the art was digusting (not to offend the author I mean the art is so blunt). Anyway this manga totally worth my time and the ending is so beautiful (I nearly cried). The story is so intersting but its so underrated.

This is a manga that doesn't have much depth, very shallow and probably was meant for the perverts to enjoy. All of the characters are illogical, their actions are dumb at best. Even 2D people would be confused by their action or inaction. Amid all the horrifying and disgusting things taking place, the characters are goofing around or staying around to be preyed upon. This is fap material for the twisted, pedophiles and other perverts.

How do I even begin with this one. A family gets threatened by some criminals, and their 2 daughters, Akiko and Takako, get gang-raped. Eventually, they're driven away, but the family devolves into a fucking mess. Akiko's clearly traumatized but chooses to ignore them, and Takako's... fine? She gets raped, has her nudes sent to a magazine, her rapist gets prize money for it, never pays her, amongst many other atrocities, and not only does she not appear visibly distressed, but she decides to sleep with her rapist for a week straight just to stay away from her overbearing father who's arguably just trying to keep her safe. Oh, and the mom's an alcoholic. Great. The idea that this manga is supposed to be psychological whilst simultaneously "slice of life" is mind-boggling to me. I am not criticizing the graphic scenes themselves. I believe that they can be used as plot devices to advance the story and characters. However, the manga does the opposite. Yes, characters don't have to change in personality or values to be captivating. But within the context of the manga, I'd argue that change is inevitable, leaning on necessary. Who wouldn't change as a person if they had gone through some of the things the Suzuki family has, such as gang rape, cult manipulation, the distribution of child pornography, amongst other deplorable events? I don't think the absurd nature of the story justifies the author making it comedic. In my opinion, it comes off as insensitive, especially considering the punchlines are the fact that *insert horrible act* happened, and not on how ridiculous they are in and of themselves. However, despite its glaring flaws, I did enjoy the father's resolve to protect his family, no matter his excessive paranoia. I also liked Akiko, as she seems to be the only character who experienced real adverse effects for the trauma she's endured, like her PTSD preventing her from taking a step outside, making her character more believable. Overall, I think Yamamoto could've handled the mature themes a lot better while still making it humourous. The family needs therapy. Aritagou, for a bad experience.

This was really good, the beginning is too strong so it can prevent you from reading it, but I think it abordes lot of complicated topics in a really good way it handles the awfullnes of the topics with the comedic timeings really well, the mom was a complete chaos and I don't think her development was one to call them readers attentio, also Akiko sudden recovery felt rushed, yet the realness of the character prior to that is really good, Takako and the that were definetly the best written characters, the dad as much as he wanted to heló he was so set in his ways he didn't end up doing shit, algo a little random but I bealive this manga would translate really well to the small screen.
I really enjoyed the reading, sometimes it felt like a lot of text but most of the time it was needed text, it added something to the story so there's really no complains.

I think this was really good. Like many others, once I started I could not stop until the end.
It is not because of the sex scenese, but rather for the compelling story.
Contrary to what it may seem, the characters are rather believable and realistic in their caricatures..
A recommended reading for all those enfatuated with the idea of Japan and its traditions.
