Comments of Ascendance of a Bookworm

I like the manga, but Myne is getting on my nerves. As the manga goes on, it's obvious that no one is willing to teach her to be less of an airhead than she is. The reason why she is in some situations is that she is just so easily taken advantage of. I feel like our MC should at least try to be more cautious after being scolded multiple times for people. If you had a drinking game out of the many times she's gotten taken advantage of you'd actually die. I love Myne and that she is pursing her needs for books, but she often easily falls into despair. I just want the MC to like idk. Reflect on how her actions are affecting others both the good and bad ya know. Like her being a total airhead and being easily taken advantage of is a place to improve and I have just read 40 chapters and still haven't seen such a thing addressed and I'm like ;-;. Like she gets constantly scolded, but like never once has she ever asked for help either. She always just receives it. Outside of that I really like Myne but I need to set this down.

I can see why she's born in that family. She is so selfish. Never learn to understand ppl as long as it's not get in her way. Not in the past life or current life. Well it's more like she don't have common sense when she start to have a strong interest in book Σ( ︶︿︶||)

The more she grow up she will learn how to appreciate ppl around. That's what I hope so-

At first I was annoyed at this girl persistence for books. Like no motivation was given as to why. Just plain obsession and lack regard for herself and new fam. But this story grew on me and I actually felt for this

I'm glad there are child labor laws are in place. These kids are 6 years old having to worry about being cheated by their employers and knowing that she's an adult makes me physically coil in on myself when they say stuff like "your hair is really shiny, can you tell me how you got it this way?" They rlly tryna play children in the name of "testing"

This manga has an anime and season 3 is airing now during spring 2022
