This one's actually great, I still remember this every once in a while. It's subtle, but if you take notice, you'll get how MC acts the way she does because of her mum and upbringing. She essentially grew up having to be the adult in her family taking care of her mum and not being able to say no, but later on learns what it's like to be passionate about something for herself. I can also see how she and ML got attracted to one another. Even though they're kinda opposites, they understand each other. It's refreshing for a shoujo.
