Tbh, I never wanted to read this specific manga bc I never really like facing realistic mannerisms in manga. But I reaaally want to read this after seeing a chapter revisiting at youtube about a specific lion-rabbit couple within the manga and I thought, "Hmm... Interesting."
•chapter 1: popular lion student is sent to confront his fellow bat classmate, as to why the bat was skipping school. talking with the bat he is further forced to deal with his animalistic instincts and perfectionist persona. •chapter 2: you siberian tiger and his weasel friend try to hold some of the carnivorous classmates from bullying the weaker herbivores. •chapter 3: a camel author is mesmerized by a pretty wolf girl who wants to “eat him up.” •chapter 4: young black panther girl who got involved with some had people takes refuge at a camels inn. the camel is fascinated by the girls curious nature, but conflicted as he senses there is something she’s hiding. •chapter 5: a gazelle girl is the host of cooking show but when a crocodile cohost joins her show it brings out the issues between herbivores and carnivores, thus creating a rivalry that turned into a friendship over the shared love of cooking. •chapter 6: schoolgirl fox girl becomes friends with the shy chameleon classmate who has a crush on her. The chameleon is forced to stand up for the fox when she is being bullied by classmates •chapter 7: the mc is an editor for an author who is know for their stories that portray the struggles of herbivores. However the mc is surprised when that author is a carnivore, and not just that but she’s a big bear who often misunderstood due to her large and scary appearance.
This charming, and also heartbreaking, series experiments with a world where society creates the illusion of "harmony" between all animals that is expected to be represented in all animals. The author plays with carnivor and herbivor relationships and what it really means to be primal, and how they can find peace whether ot comes from suppression or honesty with ones instincts.
