There was zero communication with these two and a lot of assumptions. Yet somehow they both smartened up to be together in a short period. Seemed super rushed.
Either he’s off his meds or he’s from a totally different dimension. One minute he’s sexually harassing and assaulting the FL, who keeps saying no and is obviously terrified (and he’s using some incredibly vulgar pickup lines), and the next he’s talking like a Puritan preacher. So: is he schizophrenic and off his meds or is he the biggest hypocrite in the county? It has to be one or the other, and I’m betting on the raging and unchecked mental illness (not to mention the fact that he's abjectly stupid).
I like how in Harlequin novels when the FL are rich and actually earn their money own they're seen as sluts, but the ML who are just born lucky and are given shit just from birth are seen as basically saints or gods even though they act like complete assholes.
