This MC is so fucking annoying. An absolute selfish coward with no good qualities and I'm starting to become sick of it. I don't feel bad for him and I don't want things to become better for him, he literally doesn't deserve shit. He's obviously not intended to be likeable, but it's also not enjoyable to read either. Plot-wise it has potential and I'm still curious to see how it's gonna develop, but this MC just makes it so hard to enjoy the story. Ch. 33: Stopped reading ~Ch. 60: Comments still talking about annoying and cringey MC, not worth continuing i fear.
14 - an elitboy from a rich family loses everything then use his parents old « friends « connection to go back to the world of the privileged He now has nothing but his talent for studying …and a « superpower « Ok it could make a decent story, but the MC is seriously dumb, it looks like he learned nothing from his setbacks He’s a hypocrite with high greed that seems to only have learned how to cheat and use others So he goes from arrogant prick to the worse kind of s@&tty prick So far not great - and hardly « comedic » I hardly see how to turn that self centered selfish idiot into an interesting character, so maybe I’ll check later (… or not ?)
The art is also hard on my eyes : it’s like it didn’t chose the register of the story ( caricature or not?) And maybe it’s actually the same with the story : what is the purpose really ? Super powers ? Human experiments ? Revenge of the loser (that should not be one?) ? Social hierarchy ? True friendship ? Values ? 14 chapters in, yet i don’t have a clue !
