I enjoyed the story, but the MCs were incredibly indecisive and both suddenly wimping out. ML takes his daughter on vacation and puts up with his ex-SIL spying on them and demanding their time. He even goes far enough to rope in a stranger as a fake fiancée for camouflage. The FL keeps going back to a “boyfriend” who repeatedly dumps her for his psychopath ex about whom he’s totally besotted. They both need therapy. And… What in Hades did the story have to do with Christmas Eve?
