My rating: 7,7/10 It promoted this old-fashioned image of femininity, but the story was fun to read. I liked that you also get the ML's pov in more detail.
BET, PROPOSAL, GLOW UP, FRIENDS When her male childhood friend says that no man would ever marry her, she makes a bet with him announcing that she will find someone to propose to her in the next months. But as she starts to change, her friend starts to feel drawn to her.
5/10 - this was super cliche and wholesome, but it definitely feeds into the stereotype that a woman isn't a "real woman" or worth noticing unless she's in a dress. Anyway, overall a cute read.
The woman of his dreams was right under his nose...
When Charlotte Taylor's best friend, Gabe Donofrio, agreed with her that she wasn't the type of woman men fall in love with, she bet him a thousand dollars she'd have a marriage proposal in three months. Then she turned her tomboy self into a sexy siren, The World's Most Eligible Bachelor moved in next door... and Gabe realized he'd made a big mistake!
Wow then I'm totally not "feminine",regardless of style it doesn't matter what they wear because seeing them happy is more important. What happened to it is the INSIDE that counts?
