I was mad committed to read and finish this story (I binged it). I really enjoyed it though! It was so much fun. The author has a great sense of humour, the characters were very interesting and likeable, there was a sudden wave of sadness towards the end (ORV vibes fr) but overall, it's a great story.
4.5, beginning felt a little hesitant but was interesting enough to continue and certain plot lines was difficult to follow especially the gods creation portion (maybe lost in translation) but overall super cute and I love the leads dynamics. Even cried when blonde was getting hurt and told Jian why his true intentions, basically the confession scene. I did tear up at other chapters but I don’t remember. Needless to say, I binged it. The art is so beautiful too!! Even tho it’s Chinese (censorship and all) I didn’t expect a kiss at the end :))))
I actually really enjoyed this. It's pretty original with the backstories and dynamics. Cyborg wasn't completely oblivious, and the son of god eventually got better after he realized manipulating wasn't the best idea. The ending chapters caught me off guard, especially the cycle part. Anyways, I honestly loved this, it's sad to see that it's over. I've gotten attached to the characters, hah.
This was extremely well done, the plot, characters, everything, its a very nice story even though there are times that it would be a tad bit confusing but it still managed to make me intrigued with the plot flow.
When the people of Jian’s village inexplicably turn on each other, he and his cybernetic arm are powerless to stop the deadly tragedy. He seeks the one responsible, only to run into the mysteriously powerful Xizhan during his own hunt for answers. Somehow, the affectionate stranger convinces the taciturn Jian to band together to find the enigmatic Quicksilver, who may be the key to both their quests. In a world with gods and spirits where nothing is as it seems, will their journey reveal the answers they seek and reflect their true intentions?
