listen. I have so many feelings about this manhua. First and foremost the art style is gorgeous, both seme and uke r amazing beautiful but I literally stopped every 3 panels maybe to marvel at uke bc he is a gift from god. the plot felt very natural, it's following two humans through the ups and downs of their lives. Uke's backstory and environment are horrendous, and my only qualm with this is that there was no need for his traumatizing scenes. It feels like a big overcast on this beautiful story, but the author ties it up with showing the healing process and how to deal with that in a relationship, which i guess is something at least. I love both mc and ml, i adore them! and I really like how mc came out to his friends and they got to meet his partner, that was very sweet. 4.5
The ML is too good for the MC. I haven’t seen anything that the latter has done to show how sincerely he loves his boyfriend - like he is always on the receiving end. There is rape and abuses in this series btw
I would not recommend this to someone who can not deal with more sensitive topic such a abusive relationships and attempts at suicide. But that doesn't mean this BL isn't wonderful. This BL handles the topic in a very serious light, and I love the revenge he gets at the end. I will not lie it was hard to get through the ex abusive "boyfriend" part, but I feel that story's should have representation like that, most people don't know how to get out of a toxic relationship and sometimes need help discovering there self worth. So I'm glad this BL showed such a serious growth in character, over all one of my top Mangas.
cute and i like the pacing, although its a bit hard to discern the expressions because the characters tend to have this... default pissed off look? idk how to explain
