Let’s get into a time machine and return to that time. Where it was always fun and you were always laughing, to that time... "I only have three more months to live" Yui who just transferred to a new school in the countryside becomes Ryo’s classmate. Yui who is suffering from an illness has a "wish" that she can’t tell anyone, but Ryo wants to grant her that wish but… After death, reality hits Ryo and Yui. This is the story of the eternal promise that was made by the two of them.
Definitly tragedy the first one and the second is bittersweet (unrequited love) - no happy endings here, but stil very much worth the read. Very sweet and pure love stories and very likable characters.
despite the stories having all be bad ends for the heroine, it was a rather bittersweet feeling that made me cry so much because it was so romantic. I would probably say that I don't have a favorite because they were all so good and sweet, I can tell you atleast 2 things about why I liked each of them. firstly, I really liked how the heroine was so desperate to make her dream come true that she would believe in any superstition in order to make it come true, it was really sweet how the protagonist would look for the remaining stones despite him having fevers. it really got to me when it wrote "1 month later, she passed away" it broke my heart because I didn't know it wouldn't be a happy end. secondly, I like the second story, mostly because of the heroine having pains knowing that her best friend is dating the guy she likes, having to endure those pain, I admire how strong she is. lastly, I probably didn't cry as much in this one than I did in the other two, but I still really liked how the story developed and how it started when the heroine saved the little firefly and named it Hotaru which is the protagonist's name and he came to meet her once more, unfortunately he did it so he could sacrifice himself in order to save her from her throat disease, it's so sweet but heartbreaking. I loved them all and I cant wait to read more!!! >.<
