It’s not the best sport manga but it’s interesting for sure. I’ve finished the anime and am quite curious about their future beyond that. I’m just not sure if this manga is good enough to keep my interest. Because the protagonist isn’t the type I enjoy and it’s also very realistic aka slice of life. Hence the dilemma to pick it up I’ve one BIG issue with sports mangas. They never continue on past their HS career!! We all wanna see these chars make it past this small chapter of their lives and achieve their big dreams by making it international. The pacing hurts these mangas the most! They spend so many chapters on either just a year or in some cases three of their development. It’s not nearly enough. I get frustrated with how dragged out the matches become, they could def shorten it by a lot and instead give us a longer career span of these chars. I soo badly wanted to see so many of my fav sports protagonists make it big in their careers but unfortunately it all seems to be only ever about their time in HS

Is it true that Tsukamoto will quite soccer after playing in finals? Whyyy?!?! His selling point is that he never gives up whatever comes his way. If he gives up and quit, what will be left of him??? Ugh! Why?! I only like Tsukamoto because of his spirit of perseverance. I wanna read more of you reaping all the fruits of your hard practices with soccer. I wanna see you on top with Kazama leveling with the other geniuses. Whyyyy??!!
