Yaoi, Smut, Assassin, Action, Drama, Uncensored This was just really strange. The one ML literally kidnaps the other just because he makes his heart beat. He then ends up almost forcing himself on him. And they end up together? It’s just not realistic and just a strange concept. I felt like they looked cute together at the last slide, but they didn’t show enough of them being happy together to get a feel of their relationship, for that I think it would have to be longer.
This is a story I'm kind of conflicted about because I'm constantly wavering between liking and disliking it. Even while reading it, I couldn't tell if I was enjoying what I was reading.
Both of the main characters are completely and utterly insane, which was something I really liked. They both had traits of ASPD, with both of them being quite unempathetic and emotionless until they met each other and were the spark that lit each others fire. I liked that a lot, it's quite romanticized. Some could find it problematic, or cheap, but it was tailored to my tastes.
What I didn't like was the weird, supernatural instalove Gi Jun had for Haseo. He can quite literally sense when Haseo is around, and I just . . . I don't get it. It's fucking stupid. This isn't a realistic story, I mean it's about assassins after all, but it's not a fantasy story. It is grounded in some sense of realism. But the strange way Gi Jun is able to detect Haseo, without even knowing Haseo is there, just completely broke that. It took me out of the story. He instantly fell in love with him too without having as much as a single exchange with him—Haseo walks into the room, and merely looking at him (without Haseo looking back or anything) makes Gi Jun fall head over heels for him. It's just so stupid lol
The running "decision" motif was also quite stupid to me. The story is called "Decision" because Haseo is an assassin, and he makes a "decision" at the end of his mission on whether or not to kill his target . . . Which doesn't make sense . . . Because he's an assassin . . . Contracted to kill . . . So. I think the author should have thought that through a bit more. It's also so fucking stupid to see him repeatedly go "decision," then kill his target, and then say "death." You don't gotta spell it out, man.
this was kinda nice it was refreshing to have two psycho mfs like each other and not just one psycho who abuses the other. art is hottttt and this would've been way better if it was a lot longer but oh well
