spoiler. tbh, this sounds like it has a good plot but just very messy.


white haired is the ml (second price) and childhood friend of fl. she doesn't remember him bc the black haired (her husband, the duke) is actually obsessed with her and took the "role" of ml, faking as her childhood friend. white asked the emperor for fl's hand in marriage but black told emperor to force white to go fight in the war. emperor didn't want to bc he liked white, but white apparently has a bad rep so in order to get better standing, emperor agrees and white goes to war, thus the start of black "becoming" white.

why they look similar: idk, but mistress' real hair color is actually blonde just like ogfl. someone said they could be twins. (confirmed they are siblings with mistress being the older twin)

who killed ogfl(?): the head maid? or crown princess? something like that; the head maid is a spy and assassin, and the princess kidnapped(?) her.

black's obsession with fl: says he loves her, but he can't make love with her bc her body is too weak so he finds the mistress who has similar features. he broke down at some point after her death, saying he misses her, but he's still kind of a psycho bc he wanted her to die ("i will love her even in her death"). he never loved the mistress even though they made the deal to marry.

fl gets her og body back and she kisses ml o: the one who switches their souls back is her sister (the mistress)??? idk about this part

the mistress: was abandoned as a child and lived differently. she was jealous of fl and fell in love with black, so when she heard fl was going to die anyway due to her weak body, she was happy.
