Reading this felt like a fever dream

I quite liked it, the only problem is, there is no way they could be back to the present time
So the story goes like this: the entire of school transported to an alternative universe where the world is full of monster and disease. the grown up turn crazy by stress and start to kill each other, resulting to only the kids try to survive. somehow this universe have a kinda link with the present time. the mother of the main protagonist help them from her time. she kinda have an inkling or way to communicate with her son once in a while. the only critique I have is that there is no explanation at all about how and why they transported to this universe. but the mystery itself quite immersing, especially because the survival starring little children, it is intriguing
