Was willing to give it a chance even with a cheating seme. But with the resolution being, even though it hurts him, the uke essentially saying “I love you so you can cheat on me whenever you want” was so unsatisfying. Like genuinely, how did the author think that was a satisfying way to resolve the conflict? Reading it further all I can think of is “okay, so when is he going to cheat again?”
The rape wasn't necessary. I understand Takao wanted to do something to be more than others to Kimihiko but that shouldn't have been it.
Also, the fact that Takao was attracted to his cousin's ex-boyfriend's; Junya. If he really loved Kimihiko, he wouldn't have felt attracted to another. Yes, he would have admired but not touched. But in this case, not even admired cause he wasn't gay to begin with but just liked Kimihiko. Maybe because Kimihiko was his first man? But still, doesn't feel right.
The pacing is a bit fast, and while you can feel their emotions, Takao's don't always come through as they should. Kimihiko's on the other hand make my heart sink.
A CHEATER!!!!! JUST BECAUSE KIMIHIKO IGNORED HIM, AND JUNYA KISSED HIM BCS HE'S DRUNK, HE HAD SEX WITH HIM. AND THAT'S A NO-NO FOR ME. I KNEW THAT SMTH WOULD HAPPEN WHEN JUNYA CALLED HIM. LMAAAAAO DROPPED.
