story is about jaekyung, a boy who has a father with REALLY, really high expectations. for jaekyung, the only way he can get his father's love is to do well in school. and so he studies, and studies and studies.. after all, efforts never betray, right? .... the end will always kill me...
27.04.24 I normally don't mind tragic endings but this story left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. As i was reading the story, i kept on wishing that Jaekyung will be able to escape from his abusive father and live a happy life with his friends. I had hope but unfortunately, when i read the last chapter, it came crashing down. Tbh, it felt like the author wanted him to suffer till the end and it just didn't sit right with me.
This would have been an AMAZING enemies to lovers story between the mc and kwon. But like even without the rimance part it was nice. Im gonna ignore the ending cuz I dont wanna imagine that he killed himself im just gonna pretend that the story finished when the three of them were holding hands ans running
