the thing with flashbacks is, they r supposed to be the shortened version of the events
as a reader, we don’t need to know this much and also, the fact that sol isn’t even telling Ian this, but it’s just a random flashback instead?? that makes it so boring [86]

Worth reading

Taming a dragon and getting a caring boyfriend in exchange? What a life. I really like this narrative, the settings and the characters personalities. Their behavior is not beyond unreasonable and I like how the author always manages to show us the differences and similarities between species and between ways of thinking of the characters. The obsessive rival is there but I like how it doesn't feel out of place and how his methods are hard to accept but easy to "understand" (he is a peculiar "d" after all). At the same time, although Sol grew up to be very kind and perfect bf material, we can still see he struggles a bit with understanding humans, and how to deal with Ian: and that's natural, because even humans don't understand each other, what a dragon can do about that?

Anyways, it's been a while since I got hooked on a story. Five stars, no complaints.
