come for the great kissing scenes. the author wants it both ways with the landlord coercion plot driving you to pick up the manga and scaring the protagonist for real, only for it to dissolve completely into healing sweet love. they even devise a way for it to have never been coercive in the first place. it's a bit silly, but the passion is there for sure.
