Sometimes it pissed me off but mostly it was nice

Ahead of it's time in this genre. it has it's flaws...the amount of dubious consent is...yeah. But compared to most older bl manga, it does a way better job for me. I love the couple's back and forth dynamic and the fact that the story focuses on their lives as well as their romance. A new favorite of mine!

I have so much to say first of Dee ask for the permission of ryo before kissing him every god damn time which is quite cute and mature too since their passionate kisses didn't made me feel bad that they didn't had sex till 20th chapter still i love Dee character so much guy us full of mystery , bisexual , funny guy , non serious or serious in situation where he should be , also he likes girls but he clearly says he is bisexual so he swings both ways his character reminds me of city hunter ryou saeba it's just that he crazy about ryo i finally read this manga I have been avoiding it like since I watched anime 7 years ago finally i completed it they move in together and will solve cases together i love their chemistry and again old translation is always best their lines are so funny and not too much formal with each other i guess cuz they are Americans still it's good. I love old artstyle so much their face looks more funny in that ( read it while listening physical attraction of Madonna)

Story wise it's interesting, but there are LOT of stuffs that didn't age well.

I enjoyed it so much, it was funny and sweet, a little simple but nice, I wish it was longer or with more close to death moments idk. It shows a little how was NY at the time so be wary of racism and some slurs. Both mc were great and Bikki is adorable and wow, seeing him all grown up at the end was lovely. I didn't liked tbe art of the extras tho AND I needed more romance for Dee and Ryo, instead of the extra about his ex

It's well-developed & properly researched (not super accurate but the very japanese mangaka tried) story about two NYPD policemen who ended up together and just happened to be men. Every arc kept me on my toes, it's like watching a gay police TV series. Love it.
#good pace. Uke took his looong time to figure out his feelings.
#90's manga: For new readers, the art style will take getting used to but get in, you will understand why this is a classic.
