Pairing: Alfons x Edward
Ed is transported across the Gate to the Mechanical World (our world) as equivalent exchange for Al's body (his brother). After going through the gate to 1923 Germany and being separated from all the people he knew, Ed finds himself sharing a room with his brother's double, Alfons, who soon develops strong feelings of love for him. Alfons died gunned down by Rudolf Hess - he was already suffering from tuberculosis -, after helping a reluctant Ed return to his world through the gate. Al (having his human body returned) and Ed are reunited and the gate destroyed, and decide to stay in the current world. Al feels and shows more than brotherly love, and we follow as his thoughts grow darker with jealousy as he realizes Ed's in love with his counterpart (the bundle Ed preciously keeps contains the bloodstained shirt that belonged to Alfons), until he can no longer stand it. #Brothers #Rape
