Uke is so annoying he’s a pathetic masochist who was prolly into his loser dad beating him, he doesn’t deserve this hot old vamp lol but except for him the rest of it is my style since I like darkish plot n art
It's way too short for it to be anything more than three stars, but for what it is, I fucking loved it.
Obviously I want it to be longer so the characters can be more in-depth, both in their relationship and individual motives and personality, but I loved the fucked up relationship they had in this, as shallow as it may be.
It's very simple. Iru turned pain into pleasure, to cope with the situation. He ended up liking the pain. And the God of Death, the immortal vampire, saw straight through it. The vampire seems to genuinely like him, or at least has an inherent attraction to him, so he plays along with the pain-play that Iru now craves.
The art was fucking great, too. The art alone pushes this close to four stars. This story is more like three and a half than just three, but you can't do that sadly. It has such a unique feel to it—it's so incredibly dated but that's what gives it such a strong appeal to me. I wouldn't be surprised to learn if this was made in the early 2000s, it seems very of that era. I'm a sucker for nostalgia and I unironically really like the style of that time. This is the type of comic emos and scene kids would obsess over
