The plot was good but the execution didnt turn out that well, its fast paced and the ending part was kind of rushed. Still I enjoyed reading this. Hoping to see side stories.

Like, yeah there could be a diplomatic mess if the country admits to lying to everyone, but it was a stupid lie to begin with. Royals and nobles going to others countries to 'see the sights' have been a thing in forever and she could've bagged the emperor then (she kept saying stuff about how she gotta make the emperor see her so war ends so why not get it over with??)

It felt dumb how shook she was seeing that assassins get killed bc its like he was defending himself (though lord knows why some guards weren't handling it). Ppl have been executed for trying to commit treason for ages - don't get shocked at it when in a European Georgian-esque era with some inspiration drawn from the mediaevals.
