i read for the first chapter

The first story was kinda cool and then the rest was a huge ayo wtf am I reading

1st story is so well-written along with a touching art. It totally made me immerse myself in that "countryside coffee-shop with gossiping old folks and spiritless owner" athmosphere
The contrast between owner's absent-minded carefree facial expressions and his inner desperation was great. He felt himself dead inside, but kept hanging on life, convincing himself that he is fine and his pain is not a big deal. I almost teared up. Thank you author he got picked up by compassionate young and caring samaritan (i am joking - they have healthy relationship, not charity case)
P.S: Chapter 1 pages 11-12 - that was funny correction
Oh, and i love young seme - old uke age gap!


2 story was i dont know...smelly?

3 story is so funny and cute It was nice idea to turn confused ashamed anxious lovely mess inside uke's head, i mean his inner thoughts, into narration of the story.

4 story is frustrating. Rape in this oneshot didnt look like some forceful "foreplay" before romantic development - it looked like real rape. Uke was unwilling and in pain. Seme didnt care. And then seme continued to use uke as a fuckhole, forcing him by blackmail, untill he finally got stabbed by some outsider and sent a love confession in his "last message". I get that they are both tough guys, who dont spill words of love and are able to get over rape experience like some physical damage, but uke's tolerance to this kind of treatment made me sad. I think uke is too forgiving and compassionate.

Seriously, i am surprised that Yamashita Tomoki's stories are so low rated here. She created so many good thorough mangas with profound plot, realistic characters and charming art. Some of her works are almost poetic. And some have refreshingly creative narration style.

The first story was pretty nice like a 5/10 but my god did we just get worse and worse and worse oh lord. The second story is the most utterly baffling thing I have ever read and then it just goes into ‘haha sexual assault’ so yeah nah

The explanation of most of the troupes in bl was my favorite part of the manga

I don't know what to feel about them. They're all angsty and makes my heart wrench, but I also kinda like them at the same time?

Criminally underrated. Read this if you're tired of your run-of-the-mill yaoi and want something contemplative. This is an anthology about the "uninnocent, elegant fall into the unmagnificent lives of adults"* - lives full of compromises and disappointments and tinged with weariness and ambivalence. Nonetheless, our world-weary characters find redemption in love. The last story is very dark, but the one common thread uniting these vignettes are their emotional richness and psychological depth.

*my favorite line from my favorite The National song, Mistaken for Strangers

CHAPTER 4 HAS RAPE SO BE CAREFUL...I liked the first story only but still was lacking, the second one was dumb and nothing funny ._. And haha the worst was the last couple, the rape was horrible and it was out of nowhere, there was no reason for that horrible outcome! And the victim falling in love like ???? Where does those feelings come from???? It would be ok is it was just a beating but the rape was disturbing and stupid. So unnecessary that it ruined everything for me (the manga is kinda dumd too)
