That ending of Ch. 1 definitely reveals that this is marketed towards women, so I guess that's probably the reason why the cells are all (handsome) men? Built on the premise of women and their love for things such as otome games (and handsome men) I guess. Regardless of whether that may be a rather closed-minded thing or not, it's still pretty rare to see things like this in asian media, so for that I'm pretty happy. I do really agree with @Agathe though, if you're going to make educational content you should really get your facts straight.
Very bad - why would a female immune system be all manly ? How about getting updated about bacterias, viruses and immunology ? Most bacterias are harmless and needed, all contribute to digestion and immunity We carry 5/6lb of these helpful bacterias inside our gut, on our skin, etc and their genomes is more than ours It would be time to realize we’re not at war against the world microbes, we need to find balance with them and grow more of the good helpers because there are many cases when probiotics often manage to help us more than regular medicine without any harmful effects (search reuteri, gasseri, etc.)
