I'm conflicted, mangaka has good story ideas, pretty art style, but the execution always seems wrong... It's sad, I want to like them 'cause there's lots of potential, but I just end up frustrated with the story/characters.
The first one was bittersweet. She upheld her end of the promise but original Sei didn't. Which is all right because you know, feelings changed. He could have just been a decent human being and Come and explain to her, really. Of course I love the 2nd story; girls with bad facial expressions are always a delight, such like Sawako from Kimi No Todoke. The 3rd was all right until we got to ch 3 and it became stupid. The boys were indeed inconsiderate. She try explaining why the race was stupid but they ignore her feelings because of their pride or something. For the second guy, who are you to put the condition of their relationship on the line? If my boyfriend had gone through with it, regardless if he won or not, I'll break up with him just to prove my point that WE decide the relationship, not a third party douchebag. And if my dad swoop in to save the day, I'll give him a big hug and kiss. Also, why did it take the dad to speak up for them to realize the error of their ways? Is that how our relationship would be like in the future considering dispute? Aye, I wish Mina had been more firm instead of standing back and letting them fight it out.
