I think this works as a nice epilelogue for the previous volume, its happening in the same timeline and follows the story from an outsiders point of view. Like this we can see how scary hinamizawa really is, it reminds me a bit of a cult ngl.
Considering Rikas powers, i already had a hunch that she's more important to the story then she seems. Maybe the timelines are also her work trying to find the right actions that would lead to hers and her friends happy future.
The main character was fun, oishii-san was also acting friendly and nice, which is weird because in the two previous stories he worked more like an antagonist, but maybe because it was told from Keichiis point of view. But in the first story he also got more nice characteristics and that was also from Keichiis pov. Weird.
