-2 for the ending that left too many things open... I loved the characters and story it's just a shame it didn't have the ending my poor heart could handle.

why can't you just give me a happy ending sensei???? why can't for once, just give me a story where my heart isn't being ripped in a million different directions and is never fixed with a happily ever after?? Dang it, I should have known better than to read her works. They always make me angry bc they're always so sad.

The main character may have made it out alive but it's definitely still tragic. Be that as it may, it's something that I would like to re-read in the future. The plot draws you in, the characters are likeable and none are so easily divided into black or white. Some people have expressed dismay towards the art style but I believe that is just a matter of personal preference as I quite liked it. Don't be fooled by the cover art though. The contents look a bit different (which is all to the better).
