I loved it! It was honestly so cool which I wasn't expecting. It's a one-shot that is only one chapter ( but uploaded twice ). It's about an all girls school which is trained in a military fashion to use guns. The reason is mysterious & left to the imagine with the only hint being the phrase "war orphans" in the book. We follow the main character, glasses wearing Hiroko, who sells flowers along with others to help war orphans. She has a crush on her student council president Tsubame & is asked by her to help the scummy investigation unit on a mission. The story shows girls in action, doing dangerous things, includes small themes of romance between two girls, a bit of sexuality, friendship, & more introspective themes learned from working with someone you thought you didn't like that I still can't completely figure out. This book is also cool on a technical aspect as the drawings are GOOD! Characters appearances are simple but convey distinct personality, the author has good control over dimension & perspective so you feel very immersed. & The shots chosen for the panels flow stylishly with ease as though we we're watching a movie. It's a hidden gem!
