Comments of HITOMI - Escaflowne

No offense but this is so shitty. It progresses so quickly that even when it tries to look serious it's hard to take it seriously because common sense was passed somewhere on the way to a destination.

Several characters who are known to have committed mass murder aren't really bad or do not deserve to be killed... For no real good reason. Would you hesitate to kill someone after your life, who as a (non-crown) prince betrayed his people and helped kill his own people down to the women and children, just because they're your brother?
The other dude makes even less sense because he was apparently the FL's grandma's love interest (grandma is dead btw) but even though he participated in the mass murder the story is trying to make it seem as though it's ok because... The blood of the people of fanelia can revive and control a terrifying existence (it's a giant Mecha, of course) so he totally had good intentions when he committed genocide (and he's also a former excommunicated prince of the same country.)
What a messed up family.
At least he died (due to unrelated injuries) the brother just disappears because the MC doesn't kill him in the end after all he's done and for trying to start a war.

The mc and FL both lack brain cells, imo. She's the worse of the two, she convinced mc not to kill his murderer brother because there's been enough blood shed (how stupid is this? Would you leave alive your brother just because he's all the family you have left after he KILLED THE REST OF YOUR FAMILY AND THE NEIGHBORS, TOO???!!!
