It should've been a happy ending for our MC godamnit... I'll come back to reference drawings of martial arts and defnitions but I'll never re-read... I wanted to FEEL GOOD reading this but I feel EMPTY... AaaaaaaaAAAAAaaaaaaAAAAAH!!!!!!

Absolutely amazing if you are ok with fight analysis descriptions instead of all action. MC is gifted in boxing but he does work for it. Also the psychological aspect is awesome.

I finished it, Yuu means a lot to me. I was a pretty violent kid and I couldn’t control my power and anger. As a child my grief turned into anger. I’ve never been abused and bullied but I had the same thoughts about being a bad person cause of my wild anger. And I had to remind myself, it was made by my trauma and I should be strong enough to heal it. Unless my anger will keep hurting others such as my friends, family members. I always limited myself, and I’m still doing this. Yuu thought me that I’m not the only one who suffers from anger issues and it’s hard to control violent behaviors. I’m thankful for reminding me I am a strong child too :)

fight scenes go crazy

Narration is fabulous. It's not nonsensical stuff and is actually based on research of actual mechanics behind different forms martial arts and physics. Kudos to the author.

Yuu is a high school kid who doesn't really fit anywhere. To find a place he can belong, be accepted, he will do anything. However one thing leads to another and he is forced to fight to keep his place, his holyland.

absolutely shattered my heart multiple times, one of the best martial arts mangas i’ve ever read. BTW!! it has a lot of sensitive topics in it so just go in with that warning. absolute emotional rollercoaster
