In that case, I think it's still worth trying to read till the end. But then I guess it also depends if the story itself suits one's personal tastes. So, what I can say is that I recommend it especially to those like me who like old manga and turbulent, angsty teen romances / coming of age stories. Turbulent and angsty yes, but that are so good and pure after all. But really, for me it's a great story and I truly liked it. I worried together with the characters, but in the end I got a smile on my face and I felt hopeful. I think it's a story that can convey raw, real feelings that at first may seem depressing, desperate but that in the end truly touch your heart. I never thought I'd love this manga more than I expected. watch the life movie version at first; and now I am attached to the manga too.
gotta say; it was a basket full of life. great one, the art is somehow not fit into everyones' cup but as you read to the last; those feeling tied you to the end.
