I remember reading some chapter a year ago, I think I liked this

don't waste your time. MC's motivations seem dumb af and the story is boring

ig .. he likes her and everyone that's high in rank has devious powers, but the story starts off so confusing it's a type of you won't know anything till later (maybe I'll drop)

I hate the fact that she avoided sleeping with him for whatever the fuck her reason was. Do I believe that she’s a coward? Yes. Does she have a potential redemption arc? Yes. But it has to be done perfectly for me to actually like her. She’s annoying for now.

Ch 21 main failed in absorbing everything bc he's just too powerful and she's afraid of losing her mother's approval when she reported her failure. Meanwhile duchess is planning the next step with her son bell
Ch 19 chapter was messy but duchess' reason against the imperial family is bc of her hatred to the previous emperor who got greedy and treated humans like disposables and duchess lost someone dearly. That's why she trained talented children just like her with magical abilities to be her pawns. Mains ability is to kill and to steal some of the power in the emperor to weaken him. Main feels bad to use her husband the current emperor but she's been trained to do this
Ch 17 when main was adopted by a duchess, duchess had a son bell who was adored but he got jealous of main when she got their mother's attention. That's the same guy who hired assassins to kill her
Ch 9 someone sent assassins to kill main and I think main was an orphan and raised to be a killer by her mother who adopted her and trained her to use her powers against the imperial family
Ch 4 for some reason main is supposed to assassinate the emperor she's married to

Chp27 Art is beautiful!! Story pace is a little slow. I'm really curious what despicable acts the royals did in the past! And disappointed too, thought this gonna have some smexy scene due to the tittle
