straight up 9/5 no cap. everything other than the goddamn incest was good. at first i couldn’t understand what the point of that was but i see how it played into the story now. honestly, i do not have much criticism for the plot and character development. each chapter left me wanting the next one.
i love how thought-provoking this manhwa was. it explores various themes about our thoughts and perception. jooin first perceives his brother’s words of his own name as poisonous, to the extent where he vomit blood over them. but at the end, jooin believed the words were beautiful because his perception of his brother has changed. for once, he felt empathy instead of sympathy for his brother, and realised that he just needed comfort and solace from the abuse he endured as a child. that was a beautiful detail i liked about this manhwa. to what extent do our thoughts reflect the reality and how does our perception of the world impact us? by fixating on your perception of the world, you risk misunderstanding others and missing out on vital points of connection. you even isolate yourself from the world you imagine to be hostile and unfriendly. how lonely must that have been?
our thoughts impact our actions which influence the reality. but the reality serves to reinforce our thoughts and we end up in this vicious cycle. it is so impt for us to regularly examine our thoughts and whether such core beliefs are serving or hurting us. just like stocks, past performance is never an indicator of future performance. we mustn’t have blind faith in our previous and, in fact, current beliefs and actions that they will continue serving us in the long run. it is only by critically evaluating ourselves can we continue to improve.
I really liked the concept of how our main character has the ability to see a person thoughts through words that bubble into the atmosphere. It’s kind of cute how he was squash and collect this words too.
However I think some of the plot vices are a bit cliche. The MC meets a random gangster looking guy, the ML, ML kisses him like literally on the first day and they start developing feeling for each other? We’re just putting dolls together by this point…
And also within the first 20 chapters our MC decides to move to soeul and leave his job partially because of Thai ransom guy he just met??? When he goes back to his family home I’m soeul he also just randomly finds a foreigner sleeping there and lets him stay??? Just feels like things are happening for no good reason.

I am really giving 5 starts lately to so much stories But this one is absolutely a top story
The plot is amazing and it's a first for A guy so sees people's thoughts through words floating around them~ meeting a hot honest man that he can't read his mind
I liked the plot twist when the police man ended up to be helping the villain
I don't think I've read a single work from this author that didn't include incest specifically (brother x brother) idk why they love to add it sm. A lot of the dynamics in this manhwa were so unrealistic for example the one with the brothers because he wanted him sexually and romantically and he almost? raped him and he still wanted him in his life idk like I'm not saying it can't happen and I'm glad they were able to move on from that obsession and they both have good relationships but anw and also the first meeting with the mafia guy mookya like I get it he's mafia and he wanted to kill you bc he thought you were involved with the drugs and I also get it they both have unique cases and the other person met them (mc couldn't see his thoughts and mookya could see colors thanks to mc) but I still think their relationship developed quite suddenly and there was a lot of blinded trust when things could've went south. Anw not saying the story was bad, it was an interesting concept and not even the most fucked up of the author but yeah. Anw Eugene kinda slayed.
